Autumn Update, 22 May 2017
I am pleased to introduce our new seasonal update, the first of many updates we will bring you under the new Johnston’s brand.
It has been an exciting six months for Johnston’s with new branches, behind the scenes changes and a new look. I am also pleased to announce that we have placed an order for four new 49 seat 5-star coaches to be built locally in New Zealand, to be available to the market by the summer season. Johnston’s is committed to leading the New Zealand tour coach and charter market and we will continue to invest in high quality vehicles to meet the needs of our discerning customers.
We live in exciting times with tourism growing & consolidating, the convention market hotting up & the New Zealand economy humming along. We want to help facilitate growth in your business too. The above investment in new coaches is one of the ways we can do this, as well as providing superior customer service and behind the scenes support to ensure that you, our customer, have a consistently great experience with us.

We look a bit different, don’t we?
The team at Johnston’s are pleased to announce a new look for the Johnston’s brand, including a brand new, user-friendly website due mid-June. The new look is to complement our fleet replacement & growth program that has been implemented to meet soaring tourism demand. We have adopted a new logo as well as a new livery that is to be painted on to all our coaches in the foreseeable future.
The newest additions to our fleet include 2x VOLVO B11’s & 2x MAN with a RR4 chassis & a 480-horsepower engine. As well as investing in 4 new coaches we have also set up depots in Hamilton, Napier/Hastings, Tauranga & Dunedin to accommodate soaring tourism demand.
