Our Fleet
The Johnston's Coachlines journey began in 1926 and we are very proud of our continuing growth and development. An ownership change in August 2007 has further enhanced our ability to focus on not only being New Zealand's largest luxury coach company but also simply the best in service, commitment, innovation, professionalism, environmental consciousness and presentation.
We hold an industry envied position of solid asset backing with our new ownership. Our focus is on providing an excellent standard of service to all our customers. We have a variety of vehicles available - including luxury coaches for tour groups / corporate events and coaches/buses suitable for sports groups and school trips.
With the commissioning of 'state of the art' European coaches we continue to set the standard of coach travel in New Zealand.
- Luxury 3, 4 and 5 star coaches ranging from 16-50 seats
- Air-conditioned coaches with climate control / many with personal vent controls
- Comfortable reclining seats fitted with seat belts, foot rests and spacious leg room
- Toilet and washroom equipped
- Several of our five star coaches feature onboard power supply for charging phones, computers and cameras
- Overhead spacious luggage compartments
- Twin doors for easy entry and exit on most of our large coaches
- Large Panoramic windows for unobstructed views
- We are committed to purchasing new coaches on a regular basis and have a vigorous ongoing refurbishment program to ensure our fleet maintains its star grading
- Large slide sign rails so our vehicle can be branded with your Company logo
- DVD, CD and PA system equipped coaches

Our luxury coaches carry a maximum of 21 passengers, so the journey is more intimate and flexible. It's the perfect way for groups of friends, extended families, sporting or business groups and individuals to enjoy their unique journey throughout New Zealand.
